Two Rivers Trail Rides was started in 2009 by Nancy and Doug Gerber, but their journey into the business world started 30+ years ago when they opened Gerbers Garden Center in Elyria, Ohio(outside Cleveland). Over the years they have litterally done the dirty work while still finding time to enjoy the sweeter things in life, and for them there is nothing sweeter than riding horses along the river.
They started out with a rescue horse and then another and another until the last count equaled 9. They left Elyria and the Garden Center to their two sons Douglas and Jacob in search of the perfect land to raise the perfect breed. They settled in Loudonville, OH in 2005 and started from the ground up developing a nursery of over 1000 trees for harvest, annuals and perenials along with fruits and veggies. Two Rivers Trail Rides sits on 250+ acres of rolling woods with a 1 1/2 miles of river included in the trip. We've found it's the simple things in life that make us the happiest, and we would love to share our experience with you.
